Default Check Engine Light

So, I went down and to fuel up the jaguar today and normally I fill up at a shell station with 91 octane premium fuel, but today I filled up at a Fred Meyer with 91 octane premium fuel. After filling up the check engine light came on, I checked the gas cap to no avail. I went and had the car scanned and it came back with 3 codes, P0172, P1643, P1111. What do these mean and how can I fix em'?

I suspect that they mean nothing. Cannot believe you got a couple of codes and the P1111 meaning everything is fine.

P0172 - A bank rich

P1643 - CAN token missing. You never want to have a missing CAN token! Death awaits!

Reset them and see what happens. Nothing to do with a fill up.

How many CAN tokens does it take, before you can redeem them for a CAN? (just kidding!)

When you get too many lost CAN tokens, you have to trade them for a subway token - cuz your Jag isn't going anywhere anymore.

What are CAN tokens? I also disconnected the battery for 15 min. and the check engine light went off for a day. now it is back on again and sometimes I get random bouts of Restricted performance according to the dash.

I had code p0131 and P0172 - with check engine and restricted performance messages.
These code can mean bad oxygen sensors. I replaced two front sensors (pre catalytic conv) - did the trick - runs better, better gas mileage and no check engine light.
This was on my 98 xj8

I went and bought a new air filter and got some Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner. Cleaned the sensor and put back together and no check engine light or restricted performance!
