Default Choosing rear shocks for my 2003 VDP/SC

Hi guys I recently purchased a 2003 VDP/SC and the car needs rear shocks.
Does my car come with or without adaptive control damping? And is it the sport or comfort version ?
Could you recommend a site to purchase them? eBay is a bit confusing with so many choices -
They seem to go for $750 each
I will post a photo of the car In a few weeks -
Here is the vin. Thank you
Terry

If shocks are green colour. They are then with adaptive damping. Normally R models have sport suspension. But VDP could easily have comfort.

Rockauto.com ,is a great site but
too many choices.
Would the Vin # indicate the type of rear shocks I need to purchase ?
i read a few threads posted a while ago on rear shocks for VDP/SC and I m even more confused now !
So could someone provide me with a definite answer and the right part number?
And do I need to replace the bushings as well ?

Grateful for your replies

Terry

they fit all years of CATS equipped cars, the comfort adaptive shock is MNC3540DA. on rockauto it will be "Rear, Standard Suspension with Electronic Suspension"

if you look at one of the front shock towers, under the black plastic cap, and see a cable connected to the shock shaft (see pic), then you have adaptive suspension.

Green shocks mean sports suspension, black means comfort. Both have adaptive and non-adaptive versions.

Thank you for the reply. I am about to order a set of rear shock for a 2003 VDP/SC with adaptive suspension from Rockauto, do I need to order other parts, hardware ,bushings or shock l mounts ? I will not be doing the job, RMB auto in North Hollywood will be doing it
Bilstein parts # 20070441
Thanks

Terry
