Is clock illuminated?

Is the clock in a 1999 XJ8 supposed to be illuminated? If so how can the bulb be replaced?

The clock bulb is part # LNC5180AA from the dealer. Use plastic or wooden pry sticks to remove the veneer and vent assys.
