I have a few issues with the recently purchased car. the most pressing is a Check Engine light so that I can get it inspected/fixed for plate it. I pulled a P0158 code and I need to know which O2 sensor it is and the best way to prove that its an O2 sensor and not an electrical problem. I had an E-check done on it and it failed for slightly high NOXs. When I can get that fixed I hae a sunroof that like to not close. I close it and it closes all the way but comes back open like 1/2 inch. Thank you in advance for any help

lol I read that in the tos and thought I had made a point to include that obviouly I didn't it's a 97 XJ6L with a 4.0 L

 

Run down to your local auto parts store and get a book called HAYNES TECHBOOK OBD-II & ELECTRONIC ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. It gives you the checks to do.

Your code indicates sensor 2 on bank 2. Looking at the engine from the front of the car, it is the bank to the right.

 

well is it the front one or the back one (i'm guessing its the back one for obvious reasons lol)
