I have a2002 jag vanden pls 4.0 v8. Went out to start it one day and i turned the ignitionwhen they blow i heard a pop like a fuse butn i know fuses dont sound when they blow. From thatpoint the engine just whirled over but never cranked. Checked fuel and getting plenty fuel. Any suggestions.

 

Sometimes they do make a sound. Worth checking them.

Then the relays.

 

If it was a loud pop it may be worth checking out the mega fuses in the boot. They're located in a box underneath the boot floor. Here's a photo of their location.
