Dash trim clips - where to buy some?
Hi All,
I wondered if anyone can tell me where to buy some new clips for the walnut trim on the dash?
On mine the clips that are in the centre are slightly smaller than the ones covering the cluster section. I'm not sure they are the originals as the centre trim rattles and falls out more and more over the months and years.
Also it could be that they are not called that at all and I just don't know what they are known as.
I'm in the UK but am willing to buy them from wherever they are sold.
Thanks,
Joe

not sure where to get some and I just looked for quite a while. I suppose dealer might be your best bet.
On another note, are you installing them per the factory procedure? The procedure is to remove the clips from the veneer and position them in the dash panel, then press the veneer into the dash. Maybe this is your issue.
good luck

You might be able to thicken the tabs by wrapping them in electrical tape, or similar, so that they fit tighter?
Or, try SNG Barratt, they're a forum sponsor, and I believe they give a discount to members. There is someone from there on the forum every now and then, hopefully they'll post up and confirm...

You can try the ones from the door veneers, they look quite the same.
