It is certainly worth checking the battery. The running voltage apparently does not give the whole story because of ripple , which does not show up on a meter. If the engine off voltage is lower than 12.4 volts, or if the battery is 4 or more years old, you might consider replacing it.
The ABS module has fault codes that can be read with dealer level software. The normal failures causing the ABS faults are battery voltage, bad wheel sensor or circuit, or the motor circuit. Check the archives for how to fix the ABS motor connector.
