Does this seem like a nice XJR?

It certainly sounds nice but I would rather be able to look at it before buying it. Such glowing reviews are almost always somewhat suspicious.
The driver seat is probably worn because for somme reason there is no picture of it. The oatmeal interior color doesn't stand up well to even the most average use. My 2001 with only 54K on it the driver seat was looking pretty sad. The black interiors hold up much better, I actually changed out my interior.

Unfortuntately you're still going to need tensioner job eventually, so remember to pack that on the price. (not cheap for what the actual job is).I don't think you'd want to wait to do that on a car that cute hah. I'd replace waterpump and thermostat anyways under $100 for assurance. I think anything over $10k for an x308 is overpriced, XJR or not.Vehicles are about to drop again because of new model change, but that's me.
Also chasman is right (ive got oatmeal in my ole 98, it drys very quickly),but I just think all the leather interiors usedin these carsdon't even come close to standing up to vigorous use like my old lincoln towncars did. Heck, I had that for almost 5yrs and it has no cracks or even gets dry, gotta be the window placement on these XJ8s. They cook in the sun and turn your interior to beef jerky.
Lastly, this ? is for Jaguar. For your rides being named after a cat in the jungle, your cars REALLY like garages and wear quick without one, what gives?!

That does sound like a good price, I've got almost that much in my 2001 not counting the hours of labor, swapping engines, swapping interior, replacing the headliner, new shocks and tires and so on. The guy must be hard up to let it go so cheap.
I like the car but the way the woodwork is fading and the headliner dropping are somewhat troubling but oh well. I used to drive a Lexus and it got barely a glance from others but now the Jag is a completely different story. It is one sexy car.
