Default Drivers Seat Not Working.

I was in Charlotte and got into the car and the seat wasn't working. I then drove on the highway and had a bad horrible burning smell like a wire burning or rubber burning and I know it was the seat. Now the seat is stuck in position hard to get in and out of.

In Blacksburg there's Carguts, its recycle yard that's pretty good on prices. You can find them here... Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market ...and give them a call. They get busy, so be patient, but prices are excellent.

Check with Col Sanderz also in the Marketplace, he's doing a clean out sale... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/p...an-out-199893/

It should just be a motor replacement attached to your seat carriage until you check for sure. Look here, Dave may have one.... https://shop.everydayxj.com/Default.asp

No, you need to determine your bad one (get the part number) and replace it. Without pulling the seat out, remove the four corner nuts holding the rails (if you can, tilt the upper back forward all the way) tilt it back into the back seat and either remove the rail assembly from the seat or try to determine the issue where it sits. If it smelled as bad as you stated, you should be able to find it rather quickly.

I have no clue, I can't see it, I can only go by your description...read the review link I sent you, its going to be a process of elimination as much as you'd like us to put a finger on it. Read that link, it may not be the motors.
