A dumb question about o2 sensors
I have an 02 xjr. I know our cars use 4 o2 sensors. I'm looking to buy a supersprint exhaust(they currently have a sale). And their downpipes only have 2 oxygen sensor bungs. Is there any way for me to work around not having any codes?
Nameless sells high flow kittens, with 4 bungs. But I don't want them for 3x the price of kitten-less setup.

On my 2001 xjr they deleted the 2 first cats, made a straight through 3” pipe instead from a piece of stainless steel and she has never had any issues , in fact even the emissions test stated 0.4 which is quite low for a 4.0S
it looks like the 2 downpipes have lambdas on them, one each side. The downpipes then flow into the bigger single through-pipe. There are no other holes as that was specifically made....

My yards must not have got the memo....and I am not about to spill the beans!
This is for an 00’ XJR from RockAuto but, I can say with just about 100% certainty that if these were installed on a bone stock car that the CEL will come on with catalytic efficiency codes. I think they should make used factory cats available to the public from junkyards. BS Politics!
It must be nice to have "several" parts cars. and...it is even nicer that you have room for several parts cars.
I keep them separated.
They can climb and jump, especially when they are young.
I just turn my 'blue-heeler' dog out and run them back into the pasture.

I use converters from Summit. They have the best selection I have found.
When we increase engine airflow by 2x, we must increase the CAT size in proportion. Obviously the OEM converter will not work. The math is not difficult. It works every time, and all emissions perform correctly. We have never had any of the troubles many fear.
