Both joints look suspicious. Ask him do to both.

Hi everybody,
I finally was able to get to the car again. Cleaned 8 or 9 ground points, which were not really bad, worked on the cluster board, and: no difference. I really believe the abs-brain went south, and also the cluster.
I also checked the wiring of the 5th cylinder, haven't found anything suspicious. So no progress at all.
I need to find somebody who would be able to fix the cluster, and also I would like to buy a working abs brain. Anybody knows anything?

There is a bad soldier joint on the X300 ABS module where there is a DIY repair , may apply to the X308 as well

This shows with a C1065 or C1095 code abouts

I checked this already, and fixed it. No improvement.
Interestingly my scanners don't show error codes. I read somewhere there could be another problem if the codes don't show up when scanned... anybody knows about this problem?

What modules you'r tester connects to? What does it say on those it would not connect?

just to keep you posted:
I was able to obtain a used brain for the ABS-system, and put it in, no improvement.
I decided to get the instrument cluster repaired to see if I will see some improvement here.
Should have it back by the end of next week. I hope to make some progress then.

Hi,
just received a call from the expert where dropped off my cluster..the main processor on the board went south.
So I need to find another cluster, or a new processor.
Does anybody know where the mileage of the car is stored? Afai heard it's not in the main processor, is this right? Or, does anybody know an expert who would be able to fix my cluster?
Last question: is it possible to set the mileage to the correct if I find a used cluster?
