on my 2001 XJR there is a clicking sound about every 10 seconds coming from the engine...it only happens when the car is in park...it does not happen when the car is in drive or reverse...

any ideas? car run fine with no codes, no lights, no issues

 

Mine does it too, but in any gear. Sounds like a big relay being thrown like an AC compressor turning on. But no climate control activated.

 

I had the climate control on when I was doing the test...
