Engine Failsafe mode/ ASC/ Trac
So... first issue with the new car, I haven't pulled codes yet, which I know I need to do.
However, I have read a bunch of threads on this and understand connectors and throttle body issues.
My question however, can it be related to simply being too cold?
Car wouldn't start yesterday and got the messages above. But it was COLD outside (like 18 degrees)
I got it started, put it in the garage to warm up and now it starts perfectly. every time. Is temperature a factor here?

Cold temperatures can affect bad connections, soldering joints, etc. You could start with disconnecting/reconnecting the gauge cluster harnesses, those are a common culprit when a bunch of seemingly unrelated error messages pop up together. There's also a TSB on it somewhere, regarding faulty soldering joints on a certain run of VIN's.
Can also be as simple as low battery voltage, the x308's seem to be very sensitive to that. Cold can affect that too, possibly, if it's an old battery? Just being cold on its own shouldn't cause failures unless something else is wrong.
It's all kind of guesswork at this point without pulling codes. You could try a hard reset. That shouldn't be affected by temperature though.
Also, please add your vehicle's year/make/model to your signature to help others help you better. User control panel -> edit signature

Hi, Neighbor
I don't want mislead you to the wrong direction but I can share my own experience. I had my traction control module and TB rebuilt to fix this problem permanently.

I have noticed when I start my jag sometimes it’ll throw an engine fail safe mode code for about a second or two and then it’ll go away, not sure why but for me it’s usually around 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below. It always starts though and runs fine so I’ve never bothered with it yet
