Default Feedback?

I would be interested in some member comments on this Craigslist ad I stumbled across today. Check out the asking price and read the description.

Thanks

Price is a bit high, only because I know the tensioner job may be lurking & not my choice of color.

It is a VDP, and low mileage, and appears to have been gently used, but not the most desirable color, and no under-hood pictures, and as a 2000 model year you have to assume that the tensioners are original, as probably is the water pump, the thermostat tower, the front shock plates, the shocks, the motor mounts, etc. It will probably need $5,000 spent on it to bring it to excellent condition.

I would think $7,995 would be a good asking price. And $6,995 a decent purchase price.

Bad color combo .. final price will depend on service (if he has records). If he bought the tires when he bought the car -- it needs new tires.

Kind of what I was thinking...

If I had that car for sale at that price... I would include a full list of the mechanical work done to show it truly needs nothing.

The seller clearly doesn't know how depreciation works.
