Default Fire extinguisher ... Anyone?

Does anyone here have a fire extinguisher in the car?
If yes, where did you mount it?

I haven't, but I have thought of it. I was going to put it in the trunk under the upper frame by the fuel tank. I have one in my Vette, long skinny cylinder type, may use the same in the Jag.

Yes, keep a 2.5lb Halotron cylinder in each of my cars. Just hope I never have to use one.

That is the place where we had one in a previous SLK, factory equipped, and I liked the location.
But I always thought the Jaguar seat is too low for it, got a pic?

Hehe .... actually the first thing you learn if you consider a Jaguar V-12 is engine fires .... you beware from tomorrow .

I don't worry for my XJ-S yet, that one is light years away from having fuel in her, but this thread ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...y-more-192698/ ) made me think again.

Don't see myself battling a full car fire, but if you'r fast enough, and have one, well ... his wife saved the day for sure!
