2000 xj8 fuel pump got noisy and finally died after 190k mils assuming its the original part. . Any recommendations for a replacement?

Seem to be a lot of cheap stuff I wouldn't trust, The OE price is eye watering.

I've found a Denso pump CFE0479 that supposedly fits the OE pump carrier for $104 and will addition need a new strainer, fuel filter, tank gasket and probably new wiring loom section. . Anyone used this pump?

I'm hopig to find a pump that will not upset the computer, is quiet and will need to be replaced for another 190k miles....

I got 2 of these for mine (SC has 2) and its been 8 yrs now, ..no issues. Denso is very reliable and OEM for many manufacturer's. If its not readily available, at least you'll have a part # to check elsewhere.
