I've had my Xjr -99 for two years and it has happened twice during those two years that the gas pedal suddenly stopped working and the car slows down and engine shuts down. It happened one time just after I bought it and one time last week. When I turned the ignition off and started the car again it goes fine again and there is no more problem. What can be causing this ?

 

I lived to try to fix the cars for this issue since the XJ8/XK8 intro days.

Jaguar has all the answers in TSBs (the ones nobody reads).
