My 2001 XJR does not have the 'Supercharged' tachometer. The gauges must have been replaced by a previous owner. If I were to buy an XJR gauge cluster from ebay would I have to have it reprogrammed to work in my car. I believe it has to be a 2001 or 2002.

 

I went through a kind of same conversion, changing from Miles into a KMH.

Bought a used one from the same year as my car, and it replaced without a glitch. No need for re-programming in my case.
