Spent all day cleaning and tidying and making a list of what needs doing. Took the spare wheel out to find a missing grommet! it was still in the boot .... just not in its right place! On closer examination the others weren't good either. Sanded the area and used some anti rust treatment, anti rust primer, body sealant to seal the grommets back in place and then painted the whole area. I then covered the repair in foil tape. Will probably paint that blue and do the underseal tomorrow. Anyway here are a few photos from today with the products i have used.

 

Staffbull, excellent job. The rest of the trunk/boot looks to be in pretty good shape so it's good that you attacked that area and prevented its spread..
