Newbie just purchased a 2000 xj8. previous owner did say the glove box will not open. Need the latch repaired. trying to figure best way to approach the repair. Appears four screws hold the lid. Searched the forum but no mention of this particular issue. With just 68000 miles what could go wrong. Not going to mention the traction control or the normal coolant fitting. Issues for another day!
