I am starting this thread to let everyone know of a great gesture from a fellow forum member dsnyder586,

My car started having problems with the throttle while I was far away from home and I was stranded there without my toolbox. I made a post about it and many forum members shared invaluable information to fix the issue. I would like to thank all of you for your help.

dsnyder586 lived close by and offered to meet me at the car the next day and then showed up with his tools and code reader as promised. It was a great pleasure meeting him. He shared with me his knowledge of Jaguars and we were able to isolate the issue and fix the problem.

His generous act enabled me to put my schedule back on track and I am greatly appreciative of his help. In the spirit of passing it forward, if any forum member gets stranded in San Fernando Valley area and is in need of tools or a ride somewhere, I will gladly do what I can.

 

Always good to hear of a successful resolution to an issue. Even better to hear of this kind of assistance.
