I am new to this forum and a semi new jag owner. I have the 1998 xj8 needI say more.
Well the car is emacculent except for one thing the dealer sold it to us"me and my girlfriend" with a bad engine. Ran strong for 6 months and 3 oil changes. Then it wouldnt start. Took it to a foreign car mechanic who tried to get over on us then to the Jag dealer ship which was awesome. Thing is the engine has a oil leak which gets oil evey where causes the car to stall. I know I need a new engine due to heads and gasketseals wearing down. But they got it to run till I can purchase the engine not sure how long. 7200$ is the estimate the extended warranty company is great lakes and they are trying everything to get out of fixing the car. My question is does anyone out there also have great lakes warranty company and what have you experience with them.
