Default Help - Coolant lines crossed - FIXED

I had my wiper motor replaced today. It seems you probably have to remove the coolant tank to get to that. Am I right?

Anyway, a low coolant light came on on my way home (the bottle was full a day ago; I check weekly). I let it cool down for 4 hours and looked under the hood...the two lines coming out of the front of the coolant bottle (one to the radiator, one to overflow tank) I swear used to be 'crossed' but now no longer are....it looked odd when I bought the car and this is how I noticed it today. The coolant bottle seems to be almost empty now. Is it possible they crossed the lines?

Please can you tell me in plain English what the correct configuration of these lines should be (I tried to do a search as I swear I once saw a photo of it on here). As it stands, the LOWER one on the far left of the bottle (coming out of front of bottle) is now going to the atmospheric catchment tank, and the one on the UPPER right of the bottle (coming out of front of bottle) is now going to the radiator. If what I jut posted is the correct configuration, is it possible they just didn't replace the coolant?

Really appreciate your help!

Yes the lines CROSS
The upper one goes to the atmospheric catchment tank and the lower one goes to the radiator air bleed port.

That's what I thought - they are incorrect and no longer crossed. I do not have the tool to fix it and will probably break it if I force it with a screwdriver so (....and I am embarrassed to admit this here), I will need to take it to the shop and ask them to switch it back the way it should be, and replace the (yellow) coolant, right?. Will I hurt it by driving 9 miles like this? If so, I will not.

Lastly, , do you guys have a diagram or photo of this that I can print?

Thanks so much.

Thanks - the problem was solved easily by crossing the lines again, and there is no more coolant leak. Jaguar mechanics have even made this mistake. I hope my post might help someone else out.
