Default Help, New to Jags!!

Hello, I just bought a 2003 XJ Super V8 LWB, I believe with all testing to be a fuel pump issue, I owned a 2001 XJR that had 2 pumps and a return line. What I need to know is what the right pump is for the Super V8, as it has only one pump, correct?

If as you say it's a Super, then it should be supercharged, so 2 pumps, same as the R.

It is infact a Super, so when I look up for parts I do not see a kit with 2 pumps, can you share links or part numbers by chance?

If it has a supercharger, just buy fuel pumps for X308 XJR.

SAJDA25B53MF58223 is the vin# parts stores are worthless, as they seem to not carry the right pumps.

Since you just bought this car and if time isn’t an issue, I would strongly recommend purchasing Denso fuel pumps. 950-0172. You will have to use the adapter wiring harness that’s supplied with these pumps. I just replaced both of mine last night. In my opinion Denso components are at the top when it comes to quality. I bought mine from Amazon and were $152 shipped for both of them. If time is an issue and you need them real quick then Airtex is next one down and I believe parts stores have that brand in their inventory. I’d also replace the inline fuel filter for good measure as well. The Denso pumps I listed above have the fuel sock that attaches to the bottom of the pump included with that part number.
