How long can a battery last?
I still have the original battery in my 01 XJR, a little over 12 years and still going strong.
When I don't drive the car, the battery is plugged to a ( very cheap, Harbor freight) float charger and I check/add water every 6 months.
With the same maintenance/care, the battey in my Kubota tractor is pushing 17 years......
