Procedure for programming key fob

 

While it might seem a bit finicky, it really does work as simply as it's represented to. You do need to program all of your fobs (i.e. you'll also have to "reprogram" your current one if you're programming a second one) and you do need to pay attention to the number of beeps and to the number of times you operate each transmitter exactly in the sequence noted or the programming won't take.

I programmed a new fob and reprogrammed an old one a month ago and they have both worked flawlessly since. Good luck.
