I lost the key to my 1996 XJR!
Are they able to cut a key based on the VIN? Can anyone advise me as to where I can get a blank jag key?
I am familiar with prgramming GM keys, and from what i have read it is very similar. Any guidance so I avoid unnecessary cost and probs would be great!

1996 XJR? If yours is a USA-market car---I suspect it is given your location---the key doesn't need to be programmed. No chip.
The local dealer cut a new key for my 1995 XJR using the VIN.
