Default Instrument pack back lighting

Can I simply replace the light source behind the LCD panel for the Climate control / AC and Heat Temp display? I seem to remember this going out once before when it was on warranty. Somehow the Jag dealer fixed it, but I don't know how. I am hoping he did not have to swap the whole panel. It would be nice to see this display in the evening when it is dark :-)

Thanks, I assume the wood grain panel that covers the shifter, etc has to come off first and then I work my way up to the top panel above the radio?

thats for a x 300 j gate surround comes out.. then 2 7mm bolts and 2 7mm nuts come out.. then remove sport switc surround in nuetral the wood ski slope comes out.. then couple screws then theradio pulls out.. then remove 2 screws for the climate contril then the bulbs can be seen and replaced.. make sure the wattage is the same..
