Hi all, The intercooler pump on my 03 has started making an awful racket. While I wait for the part to arrive is there any danger of disconnecting the power to shut it up? I would think if I stay off the go pedal AND the fact it's winter in Wisconsin I'd be okay. Thoughts?

The only indication you will get if the pump is disabled or faulty is a high temp warning for the intake. (temp sensor is on the right charge-air cooler) Stay off the loud pedal until the new part arrives.
