Well thanks to all those who welcomed me into the fold.
Have a bit of a problem with the xj8' curtesy lights coming on and off when driving. Had a lot of rain recently and wondered if water has got into something somwhere??? And where is the door switch for the interior/curtesy lights??. Be greatly appreceiated if any one has an answer.Thanks. Neil B. XJ8

The schematic for the interior lights may help here:


The lights are controlled by the BPM (Body Processor Module), individual Door Modules and Door Switches.

Intermittent operation with the doors closed suggests a short in the harness or a switch fault. Can anyone confirm whether the switches are part of the Door Latch assembly?

Where can you get parts for door lock actuator or switches? Mine looks like VDO VT-ZV SCH 0133.6. Not in VDO website. Not anywhere I can find?
