Default Intermittent rear noise

Sorting out a customer's '99 XJ8... between 40 and 60, will hear a growling noise in the left rear. Only seems to be when shifting weight (curvy road, changing speeds). Sounds like a bearing, or something rubbing the tire. Cannot duplicate on the lift.

Ideas?

Sounds like it could be wheel bearings, would like to know if you find anything. I think I am getting a bit of the same noise. I have not been able to reproduce it, it just seems to show up at random. I have been meaning to check the rear diff fluid to see if it's low. I know these cars have a tendency to leak at the rear pinion seal, I have replaced the seal on mine.
