I have a constant dashboard light indicating "Restricted Performance" Acceleration dies around 3000 revs. Diagnostic codes P0332 "Knock/combustion vibration sensor2 circuit Low Bank2. Any advice please?

 

Knock sensor, ...buy...replace...drive happy

Almost guaranteed its the sensor, but it could be a connector.

Thanks for the heads up gents! looked at the connectors and cleaned off before a good dose of wd40. Cables all looked clean with no sign of corrosion. The car hadn't been used for a time so took for a run around town. Built up speed slowly keeping the revs below 3000rpm, no problems right up to 70mph. Slowed down & increased throttle through 3000 and got same jerky reaction. Stopped and filled up with fuel, left the service station and noted shortly afterwards that the 'limited performance' warning had gone. Drove 60 miles without a problem taking her right thro' the range up to max revs.

 

Sounds like an intermittent failing sensor.
