Default Lamp-high Mo

Assistance needed please. I have a problem with my rear Lamp-high Mo (that's how it's described) Jaguar Part No: LNC5000AFAGD.
It has come adrift from the rear window and I initially tried superglue to stick it back to the window. Fell off after a few months. Then tried araldite but again failed to stick it on for any period of time. Can anyone suggest anything else. Or is it likely that something is missing/broken off the light fitting - see photo's.

Jaguar refers to that as HMSL. (High Mounted Stop Lamp)

A glass company uses adhesives made for glass. They use the same type to remount rearview mirrors to a windscreen.

Jaguar issued a TSB years ago but products change over the years.

I second the glass company recommendation.

Preparation of the glass is critical

You may have to use a razor to remove the old adhesive on the glass and sandpaper on the housing glue material left over

OK thanks all, I am going to try 2mm thick 3M VHB tape first, which I believe they use for rear view mirrors. The indications are that it has temperatures resistance for along time 93° Celsius. In short time 150° Celsius.120 degrees. If not successful will try glass glue.
