Thumbs down Leaking liquid

Hey Everybody,

Would anybody happen to know what this liquid might be? This is a photo of the passenger side (right) near the back of the engine. I wiped it up and it did come back, it seems to be coming from the upper part of the photo and streaming down.

Mine doesn't leak. But in the past (with other cars) I would do something stupid (but never had any issues because of it!),.....I would taste it! Put your finger in it, and rub it between the fingers,...if it's oily, you know what it can be. If it's not,....it can only be the coolant. My guess,....it's the coolant from the heater hoses (it would taste sweet, but I don't suggest you do as I do!!). Back in the day when all antifreeze was green, it was easy, nowadays they have them in all colors, and it's not easy to identify,....hence the taste method.

Check the coolant level. If the sensor is bad, it will not give you "low coolant" warning, but the Cats are supposed to have the coolant all the way to the top of the expansion tank. If it shows low,.....well, you know what to do.
