Default lincoln ls cylinder bolts on aj27!?

Anyone know? The difference is $3 for ls bolts and $13 for Jag bolts. COuld save a pretty penny if it works. It seems like it would as the heads and blocks seem the same, but just want to double check. Anyone tried?

So one of the Tech said. In fact, Felpro sells a complete upper gasket set that contains the head bolts also.

The Felpro ES72262 is listed as the bolts for the Jaguar V8 and the LS V8.
I bought 2 boxes and they look identical to the bolts I took out when I disassembled one of my 4.0 engines. I have several A and B bank head gaskets from working at the Jag dealer and other engine seals so I did not buy the engine set from Felpro.
The ES72262 head bolt set has 10 long bolts and the 2 short ones for the front.

o.k. just what i was looking for. I'm going to the ford dealer to get the bolts on monday. Now, I did look up the torque specs for a lincoln LS hg and the sequence is the same except they threw in an extra value of 45nm:
the torque sequence for ls is hand tight, 20nm, 35nm, 45nm, 90, 90
the torque sequence for the jag is hand tight, 20nm, 35nm, 90, 90.

Is this something i should worry about, or do you think this is because the ls uses a metal gasket?

I really don't think 10nm is going to make much difference as long as ALL the bolts are tightened the SAME. Even pressure on the bolts is probably more important than total clamping force if it is close to specs plus or minus a few!!!!!

The FELPRO set is probably cheaper than the FORD dealer and it should be available through a local auto parts store. I think I ordered mine from ROCKAUTO.

Hey Bob. You've been really helpful. I would get it online as it is probably cheaper, but I just want them asap.
