i have searched but not found the info i was looking for, so thanks in advance for the help.

I need to replace the knock sensors on the wife's 03 xj8. The prices i have been quoted for the sensors are $140-$180 per sensor... i have seen on here the $30.00 ish range, so my question is wether or not the lincon LS sensor will work.... They are about $30.00 and i believe that it is the jag motor in the LS...AM i COrrect?

 

The Lincoln sensor fitting the 4.0L Jaguar is a very good guess but I have never seen it verified.

Thats a good price! Even better than the $30 rockauto XK knock sensors. The wire length is slightly longer on the XK ones.

There's room to tuck the extra wire in, and with everything buttoned up you can't tell the difference.
