Default Loose dashboard, where to tighten?

Hey guys,

My dashboard has started to come loose. It happend after my overaxle pipe snapped and of course all the body was rumbling to the exhaust pulses... Yay! it seems to have become loose in the middle and on the left (driver's side).

Are there any accessible points to tighten I assume some screws or nuts which hold the dash to the firewall? Like behind the instrument cluster or so?

Cheers

Damien

Open both doors, you will see one oval plastic covers on each on the sides of the dash. Take them off and find the bolts. There are some other bolts under the dash, on the steering column,etc.

I remember your big friend Stu mentioned before that it helps to have someone pushing the dash forward while tightening those side bolts.

Cheers guys.

@highhorse

Are there any screws in the middle of the dash behind the center vents? Because that is where it seems to be worst...

From when I've had the vent out redoing the vent foam and radio, there are no bolts/screws to tighten, it is a one piece assembly. I wanted to pull the whole vent exchange out and redo it, but that became a fa-gettaboutit moment. I believe it is designed as a safety cage for the occupants.
