Low Oil Pressure Light
My wife was driving home and the engine stalled. The Low Oil Pressure light came on and so did the RP light.
She let it sit for a few mins and tried it again. Car started right up and both lights went off.
She drove it for a few more miles and the engine stalled. She let it sit and then started right up and was able to drive it home..
I'm thinking it's electrical, but I've never encountered this before.

The stalling while driving sounds like a throttle body electrical issue but I have not heard of an associated low oil light. Check the electrical connectors on the TB, remove, clean and reconnect.
I assume that you checked the oil dip stick and it was normal.

I've had issues once before with the TPS. I cleaned and reconnected it and things worked fine. I'm thinking this is a sign that it might just be time to replace it. How expensive is it and how much time am I looking at?
Hi Rick
I just posted a new thread on the research I did on Throttle Body parts availiablity, sources and prices:

I have been thinking that I may have to replace or have it rebuilt it on our 2001 XJ8 in the near future.
Alldata has the std shop hours as .6 hours.
