Lug nuts 1999 XJR where to buy ?
Anyone know where i can get a set of new lug nuts for my 1999 XJR, The chrome caps are swollen and make getting sockets off a pain. Look like picture, found picture it on ebay but they only have 8 and the price is out of the world I can not afford $600 for a set of 20 lug nuts. If there was an aftermarket design I would consider it to.

I think this is the part number for your vehicle/lug nut type?
Jagbits has them for $8.79, not cheap, but you could get a set for around $175.00

And even better, MotorcarsLTD has them for $6.71, so $135 bucks a set

That picture of a CCC7029 is the long shaft nut, it's highly unlikely the correct one on your XJR can you post a picture of one from your car?

lug nuts...
I too am too cheap to replace the whole set for my 99 XJR so I picked up a handful from SNG to replace the worst on mine.
I was having trouble with a few of the caps but also had trouble with a few of the washers falling off at the base.
This past weekend I was doing the brakes on my daughter's Toyota Solara (Camry variant) and noticed they use something that looks very similar even down to the external hex size (with the cap).
I'm wondering now if they would actually fit our cars.
I'd expect that Toyota lug nuts are reasonable...and a lot more common than ours.
I'll have to see if one of my spare Jag bolts fits her car to double check, unless someone knows something that would short cut this process for me (us).
