I have a friend with a 2004 XJR who was getting a P0101 MAF code.
I have an extra MAF, if it is the same part, we could swap it in to see if it keeps the code away.

Does anyone know if they are interchangable?

 

I don't think they are inter changeable because the X308 (2002) is different to the X350 (2004)....different cars...different engines...4.0 litre versus 4.2 litre. ;o)

 

They are interchangable,IIRC. This maf is also used in 3.0l S-types and XFs.

Also, this sensor is used in Mazda 3, Mazda 6, Mazda CX-7, Subaru Forester, Subaru Impreza and so on

 

I assume then it's a DENSO part?

 

My friends 2004 XJR was getting P0101 codes so we swapped in the MAF sensor from my 2002 XJR and it works fine so far.

Just posting to update everyone that it appears to be interchangeable so far. If we run into problems later I will update this post.
