Hello!

This is a funny one. I have a button missing on the Sun Roof Dome Garage Console and it's just the "1" garage program button. I found a replacement unit on Ebay located here. If I buy the whole unit for $44 can I technically just pop the "1" button out and slot it in? I think based on what I've seen if you have the button housing you can just kind of push it on in or is it more complicated than that?

It's all an aesthetic thing because I don't even even leverage that feature but it does bother me knowing there's just one button missing .

It is an understandable thing that such a minor little thing like a missing button
can cause us irritation. It's kinda like a beautiful lady, in fine clothing, with a
missing ear ring.

 

Whatever you do, don't fix this under any circumstances. Guarantees that something catastrophic will break the next day...best to leave one thing unfixed.

Seriously though, pick up the console and take it apart. The button may very well pop right out, but I'm kind of wondering which side broke to let it fall out in the first place. Might be better to just disassemble the console and take out the whole row of buttons and just move it over to your console. I'd be concerned about breaking the new button.
