Default Motor Mounts 2001 XJ8 VDP

After having my car inspected on the rack at the shop today I need to replace the motor mounts. There is a vibration that has been bugging me and you can see the motor mounts vibrate/separate when under a light load.

OEM Jag mounts are $149, but SNG Barrett stock after-market type at $65 each. The genuine Jag ones are special order from them, but they stock the aftermarket ones. I take this to mean that the aftermarket ones are fine.

Anyone have any experience/advice?

I used these in my previous X308 LWB a few years ago. I had no issues.

Hmmm, I was referring to the hydraulic "pod-type" engine mounts, does the engine sit on other mounts too?

We just installed them on a Super V8 of my friend without issues.
No experience with life time, but anway, engine mounts need to be replaced from time to time.

Don't forget to change the transmission mount (#2) as well, that is more often a cause of vibrations.

Yes, I just replaced the transmission mount, and the two drive shaft flex joints, and center drive shaft mount to rid the 50-70 vibration, but this is a slight vibration when there is a slight load on the engine when stationary, and inspection seems to indicate that the "pod" motor mounts are "worn beyond specifications".

Maybe someone can report where manufactured?

The rubber URO parts have a very bad reputation long term -- They make many aftermarket MB parts in India ---- they don't hold up. This has been the case since I seeing them in the early 00's and continues.

They look great
