Default My experience with continental batteries

In November of 2017 I bought my first jag a sipver 03 xj8 with starburst rims and a black interior naturaly being operated by the local continental dealer this car lot had continental batteries.
battery deaths over the past year
1 about march April of 2018 the first battery died
2 lasted about a day
3 forgot to charge the battery at the dealer
4 last a staggering 8 months WOW
and with the transmission leaking as well as oil and the antenna stuck and the car taking on water hence the name jagtanic either i bought a lemon or these battery suck either way continental needs to step up their game becuse I'm certainty never buy a battery again from them

The jag. In case anyone wants a mercedes that 240d is for sale 1,500

I have a Die Hard (from Sears), about 10 yrs old now and used with a Battery Tender for extended sitting (over a week). Do you let your car sit for extended periods before use? ....if so a Battery Tender (or equivalent) would be your best friend.
Is it stuck up because because it broke in that position or could the sending circuit from the radio be on? If you haven't done it, simply unplug it from in the trunk. I am not a fan of antenna masts, so this is what I did awhile back... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ve-one-103359/
I saw an antenna for sale in the Marketplace a couple weeks back and a couple parts cars which may have a good one?

Yes a quality tender is essential for these cars.
