Keyfob Batteries

I did do a search but couldnt find an answer. Also my x300 keys are at home so cant take thw fob apart to check.

I need a new battery for the remote on searching on ebay its just bringing this up and says Jaguar only is it correct for the X300?

x300 handbook says CR2016 (3V Lithium)

2x Lithium 2016 in mine. Just make sure they are Lithium and NOT Alkaline. There's an awful lot of Alkalines falsely sold as 'Lithium' both on ebay and Amazon, as I had to find out when I ordered my spares. Alkalines are a lot cheaper and don't last very long.

The remote needs 6volts. While the 2032 is the same diameter as the 2016, it's still only 3 volts. So you need 2 batteries to get to 6 volts & (2) 2032's are too thick to fit.
