So after taking the 2000 XJR out of winter atorage the hood would open. Lever inside the cabin had broken. In replacing that I had to remove the kick panel. It had this attached to it. There are two of them. One was on the outside of the kick panel. No idea where the second one was mounted. Anyone have any idea what they are/do? They look after market to me. The only aftermarket stuff on the car that I know of is a built in radar detector. Coincidentally my stereo is no longer turning on. Not sure if they are related or if I just have a blown fuse for the radio.
