Hello , and THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP & ESPECIALLY FOR ALL THOSE GOOD WRITE UPS for replacing the hoses....... I replaced the two water hoses under the supercharger and now i can't remember the vaccum line routing for one small hose. Its the hose that comes from a valve that attaches on the side of the throttle body [the driver side], their is three hoses that comes of that valve one returns to the throttle body and one goes to the fire wall to a valve [a diagram i founded] and the other one is now just hanging and it has a little band around it. The engine starts after one turn an the check engine light is not on, but it hesitates around 3000 rpm . Thank You very much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I could take a look at the arrangement on my car when I get home in a couple of hours. Will let you know.

 

Thank you very much! I've search the forum and could not find any diagrams i don't remember but i think i founded that one diagram under the hood.

 

Sorry, I just had a look and it's really hard to tell where anything goes without taking it all apart. Any chance of a diagram in JTIS?

MARK For the suggestion about the JTIS i had been reading about it but didn't know were to find it and didn't ask anybody i know somebody would have chime in if i had asked .I have subscribe to a lot of interesting topics i hope i never have to use. JIM LOMBARDI from the XK8 & R side a has a lot of knowledge about these CATS his information has been very helpful THANK YOU SIR.................................. if theirs anybody out their that don't have it [ XJ8 308 JTIS ] Veteran Member Estilian on 9/19/2012 made the download link simple ,but Veteran member Plums founded the JTIS on another forum .One forum member called it THE HOLY GRAIL.........The reason i'm mentioning these men is because they deserve the credit .Sharing this is common knowledge i learn from the Staff OF THIS GREAT FORUM you can look up a members name and find all the POSTED THAT HAS BEEN MADE AND ALL THE THREADS have been started , now thats how you will find the ........JTIS ....... because i don't know how to PASTE AND CUT A LINK . Jharlz....... this link will be very helpful in the years to come, under one of the titles XK8 [ Poor Idle Intake Manifold Vacuum Leak] this guy had founded that somebody had JEWEL RIGGED a fitting , the same area my[extra line is ],the left side of the throttle body but his being a XK8 is different design . Thanks!!!
