so ive had a coolant leak for a little while. today i finally decided to see where it was coming from and i tracked it down to the passengers side. there is a hard pipe coming from the block, that has a coupling, then into a soft hose. the leak is coming right at the coupling, then dripping onto the exhaust.

i couldnt find it on the EPC. i dont know what part it is, any help?

Safi,
You probably should post your own thread with your specific questions in the 308 forum here: XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

You will get more views and responses that way.

It might be the heater feed pipe.

Here is a JPEG file that I put together - photo from blackonyx.com, diagram from TSB 303-48am Coolant Leakage Heater Hoses, Parts diagram with part numbers from jaguar classic parts.com:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/uope7mfk7k...%20Hoses.jpg?m

Click on the image when dropbox webpage opens to get a better view.

If you want to download the file, then right click on image to bring up the download original button, then right click on the download original button and click on open in new tab to get popup download options, choose the open option and it will display the JPEC file in your default picture viewer.

Octopus hose. $150ish- I just bought one. You COULD try and repair it, but it is a BEAR to get to, so I opted to replace and avoid having to get back there again. Here is a post describing the hose with parts numbers:
