Just saw a series on BBC Two called The Fixer. They grabbed a X305 and converted it into a hearse

Yeah I have been driving my Jeep the past 2 days, miss the XJ already but I doubt its snow prowess.

so ive had a coolant leak for a little while. today i finally decided to see where it was coming from and i tracked it down to the passengers side. there is a hard pipe coming from the block, that has a coupling, then into a soft hose. the leak is coming right at the coupling, then dripping onto the exhaust.

i couldnt find it on the EPC. i dont know what part it is, any help?

Yes heated garage, I had to do that years ago so I could work on my cars during the off season so I wasn't spending all of my nice weather wrenching!

I replaced my "B" bank knock sensor. I was getting a P0333 code. I paid about $70 for it online. It really wasn't a bad job, just fiddly getting the old one out and the new one in under / through the intake manifold. I used a bent wire and a long skinny screwdriver. I also replaced my thermo display bulbs with LEDs. I saw a post on here about the LEDs. They fit fine, but now I don't like them. I think they are too bright even though I ordered the least bright ones. I hate to take it apart again, but I think I will and take the little blue condoms off the old bulbs and see if I can use them on the new LEDS. I had one bulb burned out is why I did this in the first place !

Replacing the shocks this evening which I was lead to believe were already done by the previous owner.

Which they were not.

my problem is that i didn't do anything to my X308 today, nor yesterday nor the day before... it was my daily driver while the rust issue on the alfa was being sorted. now that the alfa is back in my hands, chances are that the XJR will become just a sunday driver. that's why i made the difficult decision to sell it. i know the toll of just sitting in the garage takes on the car. i'd rather see it go to someone who will be driving it more than 4 times a month.
