My XJ8 died driving down the road. I found that I could not hear the fuel pump. I checked fuel pressure and it was 0. Just put new fuel pump in gas tank. When I tried to start the car it sputtered and died a couple of times and now it just spins over. It doesn't sound like its firing. It does have fuel pressure now at the shrader valve. What have I missed or is there something else I need to do?

 

You have about 40 psi at the valve? Check archives for "cylinder wash".
