Nikasil engines???? whats the problem
ok as some of you know i bought a xjr recently a 99 its my first jag ever
now what is up with nikasil is it something i should be worried about??
my xjr has 106k miles
just replaced the spark plugs,oil,air filter
going to do the timing chains soon now if my timing tensioners are metal then i have the newer ones right guys if they are plastic i have to change them???

If your Nikasil car is running well at that mileage it has probably escaped the gas/sulfur problem. It is still susceptible to overheating and short trip issues that Nikasil is sensitive to.
